My husband and I went hiking yesterday. We stopped on a bridge and I managed to get a couple of interesting shots of the sky reflecting off the water.

Weekend trip
My husband and I escaped for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary.

Straight from the garden
I am loving our new house! The previous owners were gardeners, and these potatoes and raspberries came from their hard work. I have added to their my garden, though, and am hoping to post pictures of my own hard work later! :)
Hmm, what to make with these darling little guys? They're almost too cute to eat!
I know exactly what I'm making with these...raspberry vanilla jam. If, that is, I can keep myself from eating them all up!

City snapshot
My husband and I recently went to visit family for a couple of days. We did the usual touristy things but this was the shot that struck me the most. It's not a technically great photo, but I loved the contrast of old and new.

Nature comes to the neighborhood
I am loving our new house! I especially love all the critters...I've seen multiple cats, a couple of hummingbirds, robins, some birds I don't know the name of, a ton of snails (one of which is below), and this dragonfly...
It was pretty windy when I snapped these, but he did not want to let go!
This snail was on the porch step when I got home. He was making pretty good time. By the time I got out again with my camera he had gotten pretty far!
